What we do

• Stablecoin design — 1:1 and yield-bearing, including use-case design and legal and regulatory support.
• Stablecoin-using financial products and services — Design and implementation support for new and existing institutions; licence application and modification support.
• Family offices and private wealth — We set up and advise on foundations as HoldCos for families and their interests, and are at times invited into their ongoing stewardship. These mandates require care, and we are consequently selective.
• Tokenisation — Real-world assets and securities. Within RWA we focus on energy and digital infrastructure, with a sub-specialty in unbundling data-centre and energy projects into components that can each be separately financed and bankruptcy-firewalled.
• Distressed and special sits — Workouts, turnarounds, strategic redoms, restructurings, recaps; debtor and creditor mandates.
• Mediation and arbitration — We mediate to achieve enforceable mediated settlements, before proceedings or in the course of litigation or arbitration. In arbitration we are pioneering ways to achieve pre-award accountability for errors of law, removing incentives for undetectable bias or corruption.

Coverage

Consulting: Global. Historically our focus has been the UK, UAE, Singapore, and India (outbound).

Legal: We advise on ADGM, DIFC, and mainland UAE law, and on Singapore and Australian law, in and from the UAE. We do not at present have a registered presence in the ADGM or DIFC.
